What’s happening to people here? There’s a suttle panic brewing and people are freaking out!

Including me… but at least I haven’t gotten nasty, vengeful or rude about it. Jeez, I never thought I would say this… “I’m not liking people.” I’d much rather be with the animals!

No matter… I will continue to be the optimistic, positive person that I am and pray for you all.

Get a grip, blow a kiss, hug a tree, eat some fruit, open the door, let someone in but whatever you do STOP FREAKING OUT!

Otherwise, it’s going to be much harder to love you!

This has nothing to do with the moon and sun but, seriously, why are people so afraid? Don’t they realize the more fear they harbour, the greater the chances their worst fears will come true?

Why are people so caught up on Barack Obama addressing children at school? Is it because they are afraid their children will be brainwashed? COME ON PEOPLE, this is our President… GET OVER IT! Barack is only trying to encourage our children to take responsibility, to recognize the importance of education and the dedication it will take to make it through at least 16 years of schooling. His encouragement is priceless!!! When was the last time a President cared enough about our children to address every child directly and pass up a photo op? Pah-leez! Give me a break!

And what about this health care issue? There are too many people living in our great country without the benefit of decent health insurance. This is a crying shame since, in other developed countries, EVERYONE has insurance. I may be a bit idealistic but I do believe Barack’s health care reform plan will work to improve the quality of life for so many Americans. Why should the priviledged be the only ones to have quality health care? So what if it’s a socialistic ideology… we are still a democratic society and will always be. Health care reform does not a dictator make.

Why can’t we just love one another? Why can’t we just trust that the Universe in all it’s abundance will provide? Barack isn’t trying to bring us down… he is trying to lift us up — ALL OF US! ALL Americans should be proud of the fact that things are changing not fearful of change. Change is good. It’s movement, it’s flexible, it’s necessary. Wouldn’t you rather be in a flowing river than in a stagnant pool of water? Without change Americans sit in a cesspool of ca-ca.

For far too long we’ve been deceived into believing what the media, TV, commercials and religious institutions say is true and right. Our country has overcome many obstacles but the two obstacles remaining, money and racism, will bring us down if each of us don’t realize our own attitudes regarding money and racism. I used to believe if I had money I would be happy. That is not true. I’m not rich by any means but I am comfortable enough not to have to worry about the basic necessities in life, health, security and education. I have been blessed to be where I am today. I sincerely wish everyone and I mean EVERYONE should be so blessed. I pray for it every day. There is no reason that a mother in this country should have to take to the streets to beg for money so her son can go to college and live out his dream. There is no reason any child should go hungry; no reason a sick person should be put in a taxi and sent to another hospital for inadequate care because they don’t have health insurance. NO REASON WHATSOEVER! As Americans we should be ashamed this is still going on in our country. We should be proud that change is here. FINALLY!

Why moon and sun? I love the moon and the sun. Throughout my travels I have collected various works of art depicting the moon and sun. It’s all about female/male… cold/hot… death/life. It’s who I am. I howl at the moon with admiration and worship the sun with zeal. I must admit, I love the moon and it’s mystery much more.
